Hiking in Mount Aspiring National Park

After another half an hour´s drive into the mountains, we reach Mount Aspiring National Park. This park is named after Mt. Aspiring, one of New Zealand´s highest peaks at 3033m (9,951ft) . Mount Aspiring National Park is a hiker´s paradise and offers a large number of short walks, mostly concentrated at the end of the park´s access roads.

In relation to the possibilities here, we only undertake a relatively modest two-hour hike through this impressive landscape up to the Chinaman Bluff.
