We returned to Coffs Harbor since this is the port of entry we want to use to clear out of Australia and do the necessary paperwork. With the custom we agree an appointment for the afternoon. A friendly officer stamps our passports and issues the ”Certificate of Clearance”.
We enjoy a last scope of ice cream on the waterfront and return to our vessel which is anchoring in the outer harbor.
With the last light of the day we are leaving the Australian continent and starting our 1000 mile passage to New Caledonia.
