Until now we sailed a little bit more than half of the distance. We are sailing close haul with reefed main sail and jib. The wind is blowing from southeast to east with 15 to 20 knots. Since the GRIB data suggest that the wind is constantly shifting to the north we are sailing much more east than the rump line.
Unfortunately we have torn our mainsail during the reefing maneuver. The good news is that we still can use it, but we have again to fix something upon arrival.
