Yesterday and last night sailing was not very enjoyable. There was very little wind and one squall with heavy rain was chasing the previous one. In the second half of the night the weather became slowly better. The new day welcomes us with wonderful weather and perfect sailing conditions.
Around 10:00 am we are passing Cabo Calcanhar, which is located in the very Northeast of Brazil. Here we are leaving the coastal waters and go to a parallel course to the coast line in a distance of 50 to 100 nautical miles. This is were we expect the Guyana current and we hope it will boost our speed by one to two knots.
