It was not an easy decision to leave today. The reason for our hesitation was that the different global and regional weather models contradicted to each other. Only this morning we found sort of a consence. This so called weather window is not perfect but it appears to be doable. There is the development of a depression forecast, we will need to deal with. When we will approach New Caledonia we should expect head winds.
Now we are on the way to Indonesia. So far we have plotted our route to New Caledonia. Whether we will stop there depends on the weather situation we will encounter when we are coming close.
