New Zealand’s South Island has another fantastic cruising ground, the Marlborough Sounds in the very North. Cruising here is challenged by the many storms in Cook Strait.
As the name suggests it is also characteristic by its many fjords, but totally different from Fiordland in the Southwest of that island.
