Staying the winter in New Zealand
All borders are closed to sailing boats and there is no country we can currently sail to. Due to the Corona crisis we come into the unplanned situation that we have to spend the winter in New Zealand. The New Zealand government made it easy for us by automatically extending our visa until the end of September.
But actually it´s not that bad - on the contrary, because New Zealand is certainly one of the most beautiful countries in the world. There is still a lot to discover here and we are very happy that we are stranded here, in New Zealand.
