MV SuAn in Japan
Involuntarily we have extended SuAn´s stay in Japan by one year since the passage to Alaska is only possible during the summer.
During the collision with a Japanese fishing trawler on May 27, 2015, SuAn has lost the complete rig. Now we call her MV SuAn .
The next months in Japan will keep us busy with the organizing of the repair of our yacht, including tasks like getting quotations, accident investigations by the Japanese Coast Guard and negotiations with lawyers and insurance companies.
We are sure that during this time we will make many new friends and supporters in Japan and we are looking forward to learn more about Japan during this period of time.
