The East Coast of the USA towards New York City
The next months we will sail along the east coast of the U.S.A. This will be a mixture of Atlantic sailing and motor sailing within the Inter Coastal Waterway (ICW) which is a connection of lagoons, lakes, rivers and channels parallel to the coast line.
We want to sail at least up to New York City, but also have some trips within the States and visit our friends, who we know from our expatriate live in Malaysia and China. SuAn also should get some upgrades with solar panels, new batteries and maintenance of our Mr. engine.
The visit of the U.S.A. with our own sailing yacht is a milestone at our circum navigation. Most sailors take the direct way through the Panama Channel to the Pacific and are missing North America.
