Beautiful Beaches

Before we are leaving Kuala Terengganu in order to cross the South Chinese Sea to sail via Indonesia to Borneo, we want to share a view impressions about the beautiful beaches along the eastern coast of Peninsula Malaysia as well as the many little islands offshore. The water around the islands is clean, turquoise blue of color ad lots of corals invite snorkelers and scuba divers.

Well known islands for tourists are Tioman, Kapas, Redang and Perhentian, but there are plenty more of little islands, which are mainly visited by scuba divers. The big islands have lots of tourist accommodations for different expectations, from backpackers to high class.

Most of the islands are covered in dense rain forest over granite and some have those beautiful white beaches. Most of the sandy bays are part of a resort.
