How well the name of our bay describes our situation. SuAn is anchored and tied with two stern lines into a secure position in that little bay, which is probably the best place to sit out storms from any direction.

There is hardly enough room in that bay to squeeze in another boat, since the water becomes quite shallow at low tide and only a small part is suitable for keel boats. The two little sidearms of the bay are falling almost completely dry at low tide and the sandy beach becomes much wider. The shores are steep and the hills rise to 50 m (150 ft). All around is bush and some trees; and the little path, which is still in our old cruising guide is covered by dense vegetation.
There is no mobile funk coverage or internet, no house, only two hawsers, prepared by fishermen. We prefer to use our own ropes.

Here we let the predicted storms until Christmas pass and enjoy our loneliness with Christmas songs, cookies, good books and games.
