Passage to Prince Rupert

Already at 4:00AM the alarm clock kicks us out of the bed. The weather window for the 64 nautical miles passage to Prince Rupert is pretty tight. For the evening again strong winds are forecast which would render a crossing of the infamous Dixon Entrance for us impossible. This weather then will remain for several days. So we better start early. In the beginning we have to motor against 10 knots of wind, which dies completely in the course of the day. Due to the fantastic job of Yanmar-San we reach the Yacht Club of Prince Rupert in the early evening, before the wind kicks in. After we have been checked in by two friendly customs officers we have also officially arrived in Canada.
