With a population of about 50.000 inhabitants, Honiara is a busy commercial hub and it is also one of the very few Ports of Entry.
With our dinghy we go to the dock of the Honiara Yacht Club and ask for the way to the authorities. A few hours and lots of filled in forms later we have completed the paper work and have legally entered the Solomon Islands.
Next we make use of the relatively good opportunities to do some shopping. Just at closing hours of the supermarket we are done and carry our grocery across the road to the dinghy.
Back on board of SuAn we store everything away, enjoy a sundowner and retire very early.
Tomorrow morning we want to sail over to the Florida Islands.
