After a first night on board of SuAn, which is waiting for us on land, we are climbing up the hill to the Holy Mary to have a great view over Praia da Vitoria and the yachts, which are stored on the parking area in front of the marina. Since our departure in October the number of boats have increase to about 25 yachts in that little storage.
Thanks to our friend Joao, who was taking care of our boat, SuAn is in pretty good condition. A dehumidifier kept her dry inside and Joao cleaned her several times from the sand which was blown over from the beach by the many winter storms.
The next days and weeks we have to do the annual maintenance work including bottom paint to prepare her for her next journey.
