Such a stay in a shipyard does not provide a lot of comfort for the crew. Even there are showers, toilettes and a crew kitchen and a laundry room available, the ways from a 3.5 m tall deck are quite long. Living on board without running water and toilet drain are quite inconvenient.
Tools and material for the boat projects are either hidden somewhere far away in the boat or need to be bought. Than space is becoming an issue, because all that stuff has to be stored somewhere temporary. Today our mattresses, tools and spare parts found their place in our salon.
