We are still excited about our arrival with own boat in the U.S.A. After we have officially entered the United States of America on June 1st. we stay for a while in Lake Worth, which is surrounded by the city Palm Beach. We anchor at the northern end of the lake and therefore in North Palm Beach.

With friends of other sailing yachts and by bus we explore the city center of West Palm Beach. The other days our main destinations are the supermarket Publix, the marine supplier West Marine and different restaurants with Internet access.

SuAn gets some updates. Lutz is assembling a pump out connection for our black water tank and changes all the toilet pipes. This takes two full days and some visits to West Marine. Further he is checking our battery bank. We need new batteries and order them at West Marine.

The weather here in Florida is different from the Caribbean. It is very hot and humid and each late afternoon we have thunderstorms with heavy rain. For us it is fine, as we are collecting the rainwater and refill our water tanks.
